Insurance Broker (m/f/d), Saxony
People buying a house think about a great many things, and rarely about insurance first. That is exactly where you matter most. As an insurance broker working through the ESTAYA Versicherungsagentur you give independent advice, from buildings cover to protection against natural hazards.
About the role
Our clients buy, sell and let property, and afterwards they ask us what they should do next. Instead of sending them elsewhere, we advise them ourselves. You look after a client base that grows out of the property business, and you work closely with our colleagues in sales and financing.
Your responsibilities
- You advise owners, buyers and tenants independently, from buildings and contents insurance to liability, natural hazard and loss of rent cover.
- You review existing policies and compare offers across insurers.
- You stay alongside your clients, including when a claim arises.
- You work together with the estate agency and the financing team.
- You keep clean records in the CRM, so that a year from now anyone can still read what was agreed.
Your profile
- A licence under section 34d of the German Trade Regulation Act (GewO), or the willingness to obtain one. We will support you; the ESTAYA Versicherungsagentur is itself going through the licensing procedure under section 34d GewO.
- Experience in insurance advice, ideally with a property connection.
- A manner people trust, and advice without sales pressure.
- A structured way of working and very good German.
- Confident use of digital tools and a category B driving licence.
What we offer
- Clients who are already there, because they come out of the property business.
- A commission model we set out in full at the first interview, rate by rate.
- Policies, claims and deadlines sit in the same system as the property they belong to.
- Flexible working hours.
- A company car for the journeys to your clients across Saxony.
- An office in the Kaiserliches Postamt, a listed building restored with care, plus free drinks and fresh fruit.
Where you will work
Your starting point is our head office in the listed Kaiserliches Postamt, Moritzstraße 13 in Limbach-Oberfrohna. Your clients are spread across Saxony, and you go to them.
